Workforce Development Program
Empowering women survivors with the skills to succeed in today’s workforce.
About Our Workforce Development Program
Our program equips individuals with the skills, knowledge, and support they need to secure meaningful employment and advance their careers. Through training, mentorship, and real-world experience through Argrow's Cafe and Argrow's Bath & Body participate are able to move one step closer in gaining meaningful employment.
Trauma Informed
Argrow's trauma informed workforce development program works with women survivors of violence. During the 12-week program women meet weekly and learn Argrow's House bath and body recipes, cafe recipes, have a mentor, and complete computer training classes sponsored by Goodwill Industries. The ladies also have access to therapy and support group services. Participants are paid $15/hr for their work time. After the 12-week training participants have the opportunity to apply for Argrow's bath and body or Argrow's Cafe part-time or full time. Or to move forward with the career of their choice with assistance and case management from Argrow's House.
