Argrow's House graduate
Residential graduate, Nana, who came to the United States as a refugee child and as an adult, survived several toxic, abusive relationships and a divorce, and had to file bankruptcy due to the financial challenges that she faced because of her relationships.
Through the Argrow’s House residential program, she received therapeutic services, support, and financial guidance to lead her to become a homeowner. Of Argrow’s House, this survivor said: “Emotionally and mentally, I am happy to have arrived at a more stable and confident place in my life due to the feeling of security and safety. Through losses, hardships, and countless restarts, looking back everything makes sense. I would not have arrived here with this opportunity as I have been given. The bankruptcy didn’t define me. The trauma is no longer haunting me. Thank you for helping me achieve not only my American dream of home ownership, but also that of my parents.”
